It's another post in less than six months!

I am in the desert in Australia. Getting some sightseeting in. Work is going good for me this trip, which is nice.

Yes I know...It's been what, since forever since I last posted!

These days find me in Forth Worth Texas.

The muse has been prodding again, so I may find myself writing some new fic soon. Work though has been exhausting and time consuming, so it may be awhile before I post something soon. I do wish I had more time to spend on LJ and BTVS fandom. I do miss my F-list! Hope everyone is doing well.

In one of my posts, last year I had mentioned that one of my Aunt's was terminally ill. Since then I have lost her and two other family members to cancer in less than a year. It has been a very tough year in those regards, and of course with some pretty hefty work projects on top of it.

I think I will have some more time coming up to keep up with LJ. I have not been feeling well lately and suspect it to be my gall bladder. The pain is icky. I have tests coming up on Wednesday. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Either way, I will have down time soon!

Well It's been about 28 weeks since I last posted here, my bad! Work has been mad busy. I miss you all and will try to post more often.

Yep this week found me in Texas folks. Been doing fancy stuff here, timing how fast people do work. Evidentally there were enough interns or entry level folks to throw at this fast so we had to do this drudge work.

Luckily for me I will get to go home for the long weekend and then next week I go to Florida. Yeah! :)

Sadly I found out today one of my friends sister was in a very bad car accident last night. I would really be grateful to my friends if those of you on my flist could just say a prayer to whomever power you believe in for my friend, her family, and her sister.

I truly beleive the power of prayer moves some form of postive force in the universe.

So it's been another crazy week. I finished SBSM, which I'm happy about. I was scrolling through reviews so I could grab everyone's names and acknowledge them. It's so nice that so many folks have been so kind and supportive the fic. I know not everyone is a baby fic fan, but really the baby ended up not being the main focus - the adult version of that baby because a main player. Anyhow, I'm just so overwhelmed and grateful with the amount of people who stuck with it - even with my large gap sin updates.

Quick Rant:
Then I came across a review upset me. It was negative and not constructive. It also came from another writer that I had admired. Needless to say, I won't be reading that person's fiction anymore and any respect I had for that person has been lost. It's just sad that some folks have to be asses. I write to get the stress out of my day to day life, not to write the perfect story for everyone, because frankly one size fic doesn't fit all.

Rant over.

Now I found out earlier this week that the company I work for has been freakin' sold. Supposedly I have a job going forward..well keep your fingers crossed for me.

I'm also very sad. On Friday Morning, my bird passed away. My poor birdie. He was around 10.

So I guess I'm in a good frame of mind to write some good vengeance fics. I beleive some good Angel Bashing would be nice.
